1. If you present 5 different bugs/fish to Tom Nook, Blathers will arrive on your island, giving you an opportunity to create a museum.
2. When you pay off your first loan, you will get Nook Miles + on your NookPhone, giving you more ways to quickly earn miles
3. At the very beginning, when you arrive on your new island, walk up to Tom Nook and press "A" on your Nintendo Controller. He'll then give the welcoming talk.
4. Check every app on your NookPhone and do something on it to earn some surprise Miles, doing stuff for the first time always earns you something!
5. Every day talk to your neighbours! It's fun and helps earn some money, or Miles!
6. When you first arrive on your island, you might see little flames coming out of the ground. It took me ages to actually realise this, but if you purchase a shovel, and dig it up you get 1000 bells!!
